As an experienced litigator, Paul M. Weltlich focuses his practice on employment law, dealing with employment discrimination, harassment and termination issues in federal and state court as well as local human rights commissions. He also reviews/updates employee manuals and negotiates severance agreements between departing employees and their employers.
Prior to opening up his own law firm, Paul was a practicing attorney with the law firm of Lawrence, Kamin, Saunders & Uhlenhop, LLC, since 1996, where he eventually became Senior Litigation Counsel. Paul has worked on cases which included claims for employ-ment discrimination and harassment, breach of contract, personal injury and product liability, as well as various arbitration proceedings. Paul is also very experienced in the early resolution of cases through the process of mediation.
Paul graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in both political science and criminal justice. Paul subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School where he was the Business Managing Editor of The John Marshall Journal of Computer and Information Law.
